  • The Low Roof is 83″ tall before conversion.
  • A vent fan adds about 5″ and a roof rack or air conditioning adds about 8″ of height.

The Low Roof has about 55″ of clearance after conversion.

The 130″ Transit Regular Body is 220″ bumper-to-bumper.

Typically, the 130″ Low Roof can sleep 2 people.

A great combination of maneuverability and interior space, the 130″ Transit is great for solo travelers and or some of our clients that are on the shorter side.

  • The Transit Medium roof is about 99” tall before adding rooftop accessories.
  • A vent fan adds about 5″ and a roof rack or air conditioning adds about 8″ of height.

Up to 5’9” of standing height after conversion

The 130″ Transit Regular Body is 220″ bumper-to-bumper.

Typical setups are for 2 people. However, we can add seats and a rooftop tent to increase the capacity to 4 people.

A little longer than the 130″ wheelbase, the 148″ low roof provides more interior space for all of your gear. The long body also offers more accessory options such as a PopRak which can drastically increase your sleeping capacity and usable space.

  • The Low Roof is 83″ tall before conversion.
  • A vent fan adds about 5″ and a roof rack or air conditioning adds about 8″ of height.

A custom Ford Transit campervan is about 9’6” heigh with rooftop accessories like a roof rack, solar, fan, and/or air conditioning.

Inside the Ford Transit camper is up to 6’6” of standing height making the Transit a great choice for a custom campervan conversion.

  • The 148” wheelbase Transit long body is about 19’8” long bumper-to-bumper
  • The 148” wheelbase Transit extended body is about 22’2” long bumper-to-bumper

Most of our Transit campervan beds are 72” wide (80” wide with the addition of Flarespace flares) and can be up to 80” long in an extended body Transit. Ultimately bed size depends upon your needs and everything else you want to fit inside your van.
